Cancellation Policy

Applicable on net tour price per person

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent. The cancellation fee is calculated as a percentage of the net tour price per person, based on the number of days remaining before the scheduled departure date.

Please Note:
  • "D" refers to the scheduled date of departure of the tour.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@devworldtourism.com or via WhatsApp at +91 75073 18336.
  • The date of receipt of the cancellation request shall be considered as the cancellation date.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 15-20 working days from the date of cancellation.
  • Any non-refundable components (e.g., flight tickets, special permits, visa fees) are not eligible for refund regardless of cancellation timing.

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling Fee

  • A flat rescheduling fee of ₹5,000/- is applicable per booking for changing the tour date.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability of the requested new date and is allowed only once per booking.
  • The rescheduling request must be made at least 30 days prior to the original departure date.
  • Requests received less than 30 days before departure will be treated as a cancellation and a fresh booking.
  • Any difference in tour cost due to seasonal pricing or availability changes shall be borne by the traveler.
  • Rescheduling of non-refundable components (flights, permits, etc.) is subject to the respective service provider's policy.

Booking Terms

What you need to know before booking

  • All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment and a completed booking form.
  • By making a booking, the traveler agrees to all the terms and conditions mentioned herein.
  • Bookings are subject to availability. Dev World Tourism reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
  • Travelers must carry valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, etc.) during the tour.
  • For tours requiring special permits (e.g., Char Dham, restricted areas), relevant documents must be submitted at least 15 days prior to departure.
  • The tour itinerary is tentative and may be modified due to weather, road conditions, government orders, or unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.
  • All travelers (including children above 5 years) must be included in the booking. Children below 5 years may travel free but without a separate seat or bed unless purchased.
  • Dev World Tourism is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings during the tour.

Payment Policy

Secure and transparent payment process

Advance Payment

A minimum of 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

Balance Payment

The remaining balance must be paid at least 15 days before the scheduled departure date.

Payment Methods

We accept Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS), UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, and Cash payments at our office.

Important:
  • All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) only.
  • Payment receipts will be issued for all transactions. Please retain them for your records.
  • Failure to make the balance payment on time may result in automatic cancellation of the booking.
  • Tour prices are subject to change due to fuel surcharge, tax revisions, or currency fluctuations.

Travel Guidelines

Ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey

  • Travelers are advised to reach the departure point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
  • Dev World Tourism shall not be responsible for any delay or no-show by the traveler at the pickup point.
  • Luggage is limited to one suitcase and one small bag per person. Excess luggage may not be accommodated.
  • Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or use of any prohibited substances in the vehicle or at group accommodations is strictly prohibited.
  • Any traveler found misbehaving, causing inconvenience to co-passengers, or violating local laws may be asked to leave the tour without any refund.
  • Travelers with medical conditions, allergies, or special dietary requirements must inform us at the time of booking.
  • For pilgrimage tours (Char Dham, Vaishno Devi, etc.), travelers must be physically fit. A medical fitness certificate may be required for senior citizens.
  • Room allocation is done on a twin/triple sharing basis unless single occupancy is specifically booked and paid for.

Liability & Force Majeure

Understanding our responsibilities

Company Liability

  • Dev World Tourism acts as a tour organizer and engages third-party service providers (hotels, transporters, guides, etc.) for execution of tours.
  • We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity arising from acts of third-party service providers.
  • We strongly recommend travelers to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and baggage loss.
  • Our maximum liability in any case shall not exceed the total tour cost paid by the traveler.

Force Majeure

  • Dev World Tourism shall not be held responsible for any cancellation, delay, or alteration of the tour caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural Disasters
Landslides & Road Blocks
Extreme Weather
Strikes & Bandhs
Pandemics / Epidemics
Government Orders
Flight Cancellations
Political Unrest

In such situations, we will make every effort to provide alternative arrangements or a fair settlement. However, additional costs arising from force majeure events shall be borne by the traveler.
